Description
The Half Summer CSA Share works for smaller households or lighter eaters. Receive boxes every other week for 8 weeks. Pay in full now or put down a deposit and pay full amount by June 1. Here are some basics about this share and other ways to buy produce and flowers from us.
Share details
- How much produce: A box of our produce every other week grown using organic practices on our farm.
- How often: 8 weeks starting in early June and ending at the end of September.
- Price: $340 for Duluth pickup; $325.00 for farm pickup.
(Duluth price includes transportation cost.)
Payment options:
- Full amount or deposit: At checkout, you can choose whether to pay the full amount or make a $50 deposit. Full amount is due by June 1.
- Credit card, check or Venmo: You can pay via credit card, check or Venmo. (Please consider using the Venmo or check payment option to save us money on credit card fees.)
- Are you splitting your full share? Some of our members buy a full share and then split their weekly box with someone else. If this is you, just one person should sign up for the share. We will follow up with you to get the name of your “splitter.” Note: This is different than ordering a half share. Half shares get a full box every other week.
Contribute to Farm Sustainability Fund!
- Description: For the 2026 season we are intentionally keeping our prices the same. We recognize that life has gotten expensive. However, if you can afford to, please consider making a contribution to our Farm Sustainability Fund. How are these funds use
- Greenhouse upgrade: This year, we plan to replace our aging greenhouse plastic with a two-layer insulating setup, purchase a greenhouse shade and install exhaust fans. Combined, this will help us to regulate temperatures, reduce fuel usage and protect plants from extreme conditions.
- Expand our greens harvesting: Thanks to a grant from the Duluth Whole Foods Coop, we have a new greens harvesting tool and will soon be setting up a dedicated washing station. We hope to also install a new “caterpillar tunnel” where we will focus our lettuce and greens growing. This will also us to grow leafy greens throughout the growing season.
- Pavilion construction and farm stand: Two years ago, we held a fund-raiser to build a new farm stand and community pavilion. Those funds are in a dedicated account, and this year, we hope to make more progress on this project.
